The IC-5021 is a mobile VHF 136-174 MHz radio with 5 watts low, 25 watts medium and 50 watts of high power. It is easy to use and very reliable, while still having a compact design. The IC-F5021 has 128 channels and 8 memory banks, a 4 watt front mount speaker, and 6 programmable buttons. The F5021 has built-in 2-Tone, 5-Tone, CTCSS and DTCS capabilities and up to ten 2-tone and eight 5-tone codes can be decoded on a channel. The radio case is heavy duty aluminum and is rated to 810F MIL standards.
One great feature, the IC-F5021 radio is designed as a direct companion radio for IC-F3021 two way radios. The channels and banks, signaling formats, programming software and voice scrambler are specifically made to operate as part of a single communications system.
