Take your aircraft communications higher with the Icom IC-A25N Air Band Radio! The A25N keeps you riding high and on course with VOR navigation functions, Bluetooth® connectivity, built-in GPS and 6W PEP RF output power to expand your radio coverage and enhance operations for greater safety in your aircraft!
The A25N is equipped with a large, flat sheet keypad for easy operation and a large 2.3 inch high visibility backlit LCD display for quick and easy viewing. The display has a night mode option so you can operate your radio while flying at night.
The IC-A25N features 300 memory channels and 15 groups, weather channels, NAV and COM channels, and a dedicated 121.5MHz emergency key. The “flip-flop” Channel Recall allows you to store the last 10 channels used and recall them easily by using the channel knob on top of the radio or the directional keys on the keypad. The side tone feature lets you hear your own voice through an external aviation headset.
The IcomA25N-76-USA airband radio also uses the Auto Noise Limiter (ANL) found on previous models for noise reduction. Other features include Priority Watch, VFO scan, memory-channel scan, time out timer and low battery indicator. It can be powered with the included 2350mAh Lithium-ion battery pack, 6 AA alkaline batteries (battery case is not included) or through an external DC port that can be used to both charge the radio and provide external DC power.
But those are just the basics. The A25N also has built-in Bluetooth® for hands free operation while you’re piloting your craft, and built-in GPS with VOR navigation and Near Station Search functions to keep you on course.
That’s not all. With the RS-AERO1I IOS or RS-AER01A android app, you can create a flight plan on your mobile device and import it via Bluetooth® to your A25N! Now, that’s flying.
The Icom IC-A25N Air Band Radio comes complete with removable antenna, headset adapter, belt clip, hand strap, Li-ion battery pack, AC wall charger, owner’s manual and a three year manufacturer warranty from Icom.
